Featured on the cover of Commercial Builder magazine and the 1999 Grand Award winner for environmental reclamation, this project involved the reconstruction of a concrete batching plant, an auto body shop, and various dilapidated trailers.

Robert Barnes and Associates designed the café and the now-famous restaurant Pierre’s, which is now owned by Cheeca Lodge in Islamorada, FL. Inspired by Jamaican beach bars and restaurants, this beach café offers an open, breezy connection to windsurfing and the water. It is located on a reclaimed and enhanced beach overlooking Florida Bay.
