Robert Barnes was a founding member and Architect of the Seminole Theatre project influencing the City of Homestead's decision to restore the Seminole Theatre in 1997.

Eventually becoming the Associate Architect for the Historic Preservation and Performing Arts Theater, Homestead, FL. Art Deco in design. It remains a historic gem in the Downtown Historic District.
